The state of Georgia recently enacted tough new DUI legislation in the form of Georgia Code – Motor Vehicles & Traffic – Title 40, Section 40-6-391. The law states that anyone charged with a DUI must complete a DUI Alcohol or Drug Use Risk Reduction Program approved by the Department of Driver Services.

For drivers charged with a drug offense or DUI in Jackson County, GA, courses will be offered on a weekend or evening schedule. Instruction consists of 20 hours in the classroom.
